Jennifer Lopez releases her new song and video ‘Can’t Get Enough’

Jennifer Lopez released her new pop song “Can’t Get Enough” on Wednesday, the first single from her next album that was accompanied by a fun music video in which she appears to mock her marital record.

The song is part of 13 songs on López’s ninth studio album, his first in ten years, which he plans to present on February 16.

Titled ‘This Is Me Now’, the new album is part of an ambitious project by ‘La diva del Bronx’, with which she will narrate in a musical and audiovisual way her emotional life of the past 20 years, until her reconciliation . and marriage to her current partner, actor Ben Affleck.

“You could say that I have been preparing for this day for 20 years,” López said about this launch last Sunday during an interview from the Golden Globes carpet.

“I think it might surprise some people. It’s kind of a meta-story about the path you have to take to get back from heartbreak to love… You could say I’m some kind of expert. Not so much in marriages as in weddings,” she added in a fun allusion to the four times he has reached the altar.

“I don’t take myself too seriously. I think life is a crazy journey where you fall and you get back up, and you keep trying and you never give up,” she said.

The video, which EFE had access to, is reminiscent of movie musicals. In it you see López dressed in different wedding dresses, while she dances with three fictional boyfriends, who could represent her three ex-husbands, the Cuban Ojani Noa, the American choreographer Cris Judd and the salsa singer Marc Anthony.

‘Can’t Get Enough’ is an English-language dance-pop song, which follows the light style of López’s songs that are successful worldwide.

J.Lo, as her fans call her, had revealed the names of all the songs on the album last November.

These include: ‘This Is Me… Now’, ‘To Be Yours’, ‘Mad in Love’, ‘Can’t Get Enough’, ‘Rebound’, ‘not.going.anywhere’, ‘Dear Ben, Pt .II’, ‘Hummingbird’, ‘Hearts and Flowers’, ‘Broken Like Me’, ‘This Time Around’, ‘Midnight Trip to Vegas’, ‘Greatest Love Story Never Told’.

The album is a companion to “This Is Me…Then,” which she wrote during her first dating Affleck.

In addition to being the inspiration for both productions, Affleck has actively participated in his project, which includes an audiovisual part that will be released on Prime Video in parallel with the album.

“He sees me as an artist. He knows I’m going to express myself the way I need to. He’s my biggest fan and my biggest supporter, just like I am of him,” he said.

In addition to preparing for the release of her album, her first since 2014, the New York artist of Puerto Rican parents is preparing to star in the new adaptation of the 1993 Broadway musical “Kiss of the Spider Woman.”
