The moon knight The costume designer explains what Mark Spector’s Jake Lockley Moon Knight costume looked like. The MCU series focuses on Mark, who struggles with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), a psychological disorder that causes him to have many different identities. Throughout the series, both Spectrum and Alternative Identity Stephen Grant have been portrayed as an avatar of the Egyptian god Khonshu (F. Murray Abraham). However, there will be actions that Mark and Stephen could not explain, leaving the possibility of an unidentified third identity. The moon knight The recent post-credits scene revealed a third change: Jake Lockley.
When Mark or Stephen take on the power of Khonshu and become the Moon Knight, they are imbued with extraordinary abilities and white robes. The brand’s costume matches the aesthetic of a quintessential superhero, complete with hood, cape and crescent-shaped chest. Steven’s look is more like a tailored suit with tie and jacket. Declaring himself Lockley, he killed Harrow in cold blood to the satisfaction of Khonshu. However, the third identity was not the Moon Knight costume, but the usual street wear.

When asked if there was a third person fantasy, Casperlick revealed it wasn’t for Jake because of the secrets of his reveal, but envisioned a potential fantasy much darker than the white drawing of Mark and Stephen. “I think it’s getting dark. This will most likely be the black and black suit shown in the comics. I would definitely start there. It’s nothing they did, it’s just me. These costumes are so amazing and you will never know. But nothing was done.”
The MCU show differs from the comics in that both Mark and Steven have the ability to instantly change the appearance of Moon Knight’s costume, each in some way reflecting their personality. Since Lockley is darker in nature, it would be understandable why Casperlick chose one of the dark suits from the comics as his choice. Unfortunately there are no details moon knight The second season or the return of Lockley is not yet known.
After Moon Knight’s first appearance in Marvel Comics in 1975, he wore different costumes. From the most powerful armor to Mr. Knight, with the futuristic 2099 armor and sophisticated design of the Ultimate series, the MCU series has plenty of outfits to draw inspiration from. Nevertheless moon knight Season 2 hasn’t been lit yet, Lockley’s appearance at the end of the series has left a lot of speculation about how the series portrayed his full superhero form.
