Charming, romantic, chic and a little frivolous: i flakes were the real stars of the red carpet of the Venice International Film Festival. In the hair, in the clothes, even in the shoes, in the micro or maxi versions: on the red carpet there is an explosion of ribbons. From Julianne Moore for Greta Ferroof the godmother Rocio Morales for Florence Pughbow mania conquers the stars and confirms the chic trend to copy this fall.

Among the champions of the arches revival is certainly the president of the jury Julianne Moorewho opened the event with red hair gathered by a black bow. The final touch of the sparkling look signed by Valentino Couture: a low ponytail at the nape of the neck, very easy to copy with a simple satin or velvet ribbon.

From there, it was a profusion of bows, black or colored: Julianne Moore herself responded with a long dress. Miu Miuembellished with a flat bow at the neckline.

Also Sydney Sweeney she went all out in maxi bows for the Venice red carpet: she wore a midnight blue Giorgio Armani Privé dress with a bow at the neckline and tied her blonde hair on top of her head with a black velvet bow.

Fall/Winter 2022-23 fashion has two souls: bold and daring, between a total look of leather and masculine blazers, or romantic and delicate. Runways revive satin flats, slingbacks, sneaker skirts and, of course, bows. The red carpet in Venice confirms the trend: the godmother Rocio Muñoz Morales opened the event with a two-tone dress by Giorgio Armani Privé embellished with a bow at the waist, while Lili Reinhart she appeared ethereal on Miu Miu with a subtle lilac bow finishing the dress.

Bows, bows and more bows: from Eugenia Silva to Raffey Cassidy, many Venice stars chose dresses with bows at the neckline, shoulders or back. The most chic? Black and in contrast to the dress, like the one worn by Jenny Walton.

In Venice, ties are depopulated in shoes and accessories.

If the lace dress trend is too romantic for you, start with an accessory: on the red carpet in Venice Florence Pugh dazzled in a high-fashion Valentino dress complete with satin ankle lace shoes and a profusion of feathers.

Bows can also be worn ironically, as Levante does: the singer, who recently became a mother, greeted Venice with a wide-brimmed maxi hat (wide to say the least!) crowned by a large bow. A little ‘Rossella O’Hara, a little’ Audrey Hepburn.
