According to the latest data, confirmed or suspected coronavirus deaths in Scotland have increased from 30 to 110 in the week since Sunday.
According to data released by the National Records of Scotland (NRS), 13,429 deaths were recorded in Scotland on Sunday, where Covid-19 was noted on the death certificate.
Of those who died last week, 7 were under the age of 65, 21 were aged 65 to 74, and 82 were 75 or older.
There were 69 deaths in hospitals, 34 in nursing homes and seven in home or non-institutional settings.
Glasgow recorded the highest number of deaths with 15, followed by Edinburgh (14) and Fife (12).
Pete Whitehouse, director of NRS statistics services, said: “The latest figures show that last week there were 110 deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate. That’s 30 more deaths than the previous week.
“The number of all-cause deaths recorded in Scotland this week is 1,178, 3% above the five-year average.”

Of those who died in the week between February 28 and March 6, 57 were men and 53 were women, the NRS said.
Statistics are published weekly and cover all recorded deaths in Scotland, where Covid-19 was noted on the death certificate.
As the NRS figures include suspected or probable cases, they differ from the laboratory-confirmed coronavirus deaths announced daily by the Scottish government.
Scotland has recorded 18 coronavirus-related deaths and 11,957 new cases in the past 24 hours, according to the latest Scottish government data released Wednesday.
This means that the number of people who died within 28 days of testing positive for Kovid-19 has risen to 10,906.
The number of new cases has peaked since 11 January, when 12,604 were reported.
On Tuesday there were 1,509 people with newly confirmed Covid-19 in hospital, 19 more in intensive care, an increase of 69 from the previous day, no change.
So far, 4,439,150 people have received the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine, 4,164,671 people have received the second dose, and 3,456,977 people have received a third dose or supplement.
