Congressmen from Esperanza Center reaffirm support for Sergio Fajardo

This Wednesday, the national meeting of leaders of Sergio Fajardo’s presidential campaign took place in Bogotá. The meeting was attended by elected congressmen from the Alianza Verde Centro Esperanza coalition and unelected congressmen from various parties, who reaffirmed their support for the presidential candidate.

At the event, the director of the Juan Fernando Cristo Hope Center announced that from next Monday the regional committees of the Fajardo campaign – Luis Gilberto Murillo will be installed at the same time.

“What a good gathering of candidates for Congress, elected and not elected, from the Green Party, Asi Party, New Liberalism, En Marcha and Renaciente Colombia to kick off the campaign. 66 days left until the second round. Fajardo returns. Next Monday we will be all over Colombia. Hope returns, the real center option and collective leadership,” said Cristo.

Meanwhile, former governor Carlos Amaya said the meeting was intended to discuss the logistical issues of the presidential race. “We have been in dialogue with elected congressmen and women and former candidates. My commitment: keep pedaling with everything, with all the love for this country and with all the conviction because I know that here is the change that Colombia needs.”

Fajardo Campaign Volunteer Coordinator Jorge Robledo commented: “With great leadership, elected congressmen and candidacies from our Esperanza coalition, we will pedal day and night to take victory in the presidential election on May 29. “
