The absolute majority of Italians trust Giorgia Meloni. This was revealed by the results of a survey carried out by Lab21.01 for the journal afaritaliani.it. According to the survey, 51.9% of respondents trust the leader of the Brothers of Italy who won the political elections on 25 September and who will almost certainly be the first female president of the Italian Council.
31.2% of respondents have little faith in Giorgia Meloni while 16.9% have no opinion. As for the left, 55.8% of Italians believe that the Democratic Party and the 5 Star Movement should not join forces, thus remaining two separate entities, as happened in the September 25 elections. 36.7% of the sample think that the Pd and M5S should discuss matters from time to time. Only 7.5% believe they should formally unite on all fronts.
