Government, Confindustria dictates what is at stake in the economy: “It’s not time for a fixed tax and quota 100”

Confindustria immediately puts economic conditions on the center-right, even before the birth of the new government. Carlo Bonomi, who spoke at the public assembly of the Industrial Union of Turin, gave a speech about the executive’s policies: “We immediately received a request from the government, which are the two real emergencies that are knocking at our doors, and public finances. need to mobilize important public resources, we must say that the promises made during the electoral campaign cannot be fulfilled at this moment. It is legitimate for parties to try to respond to the promises made to voters, but this is not the time to do so. time to make a flat tax and early retirement measures like 100”.

“We hope that the government will be formed as soon as possible – continued Bonomi – we expect a government that aims at stability, given the majority it has obtained, which is made up of as many serious, competent and impeccable people as possible, because ‘Italy’s problems are dramatically urgent and that is why we need ministers who know the public machine and the dossiers very well, because there is no time».

Bonomi, in an interview with La Stampa published this morning, had already sounded the alarm: “The moment is serious, if the industry falls, the country falls, businesses close and jobs are lost. We are ready to relaunch the debate on the economy, but the right spirit that leads everyone to sit around a table to find the best solutions is essential. For Confindustria it’s not a problem, we talked about a Pact for Italy last year, but there are those who expose themselves». The president of Confindustria indicated the need to curb energy prices: 40-50 billion are needed, according to the representative of businessmen, which “can be found in the 1 billion and 1 billion of public expenditures”. Alternatively, “a fiscal change may be unavoidable”.
