Pd, De Micheli tries climbing and spits poison: “There is misogyny among women”

Paola De Micheli tries to climb the Democratic Party with the aim of becoming the Democrat’s new secretary. In an interview with Corriere della Sera, the former Minister of Infrastructure spits poison especially against the women of the dem. “We are the party that has made the most laws in favor of women, but then the candidacies for mayor or president of the Region are very rare. And the misogyny of some women who, with a little laziness, feel satisfied for an auxiliary role,” explains De Micheli.

The dem has clear ideas and announces an impassioned motion in Congress: “I have powerful reasons to run for the secretary of a party that is scalable. I’m not alone, many federations and clubs work with me on a different idea from the Democratic Party, to put much more decision-making power in the hands of the members. A radical change, which I will illustrate in the motion and in a book”. Paola De Micheli is gearing up to challenge the main rivals in the race, including Stefano Bonaccini, Dario Nardella, Elly Schlein, Vincenzo De Luca and Matteo Ricci. And he explains that he is not afraid of anyone.

After the defeat in the elections, De Micheli is convinced of the need for a change of management: “Now it’s up to women and men born between the 70s and 90s” underlines the former minister who now feels like a secretary and announces a battle to Giorgia Meloni: “You will be the first woman premier and I will be the first secretary of the Democratic Party, I will lead the opposition and we will win again. I will be the anti Meloni because I am very worried about the model of the Hungarian and Polish governments, which compresses the differences in favor of a minor simplification”, specifies the former minister.
