The SWG poll released by Enrico Mentana during TgLa7 on December 19th describes a political situation in flux. Italy Brothers is still firmly the No. 1 party in Italy according to the polls and is at 30.6%, down 0.2% from seven days ago. In short, the long wave of the 2022 elections seems to be over for Meloni’s party, which seems to have reached the plateau. The second party is now permanently the Five Star Movement which, in the last week, gained 0.3% reaching 17.4%. In the centre-right, however, the other two parties rose: Salvini’s League recovered 0.5% and reached 9%. Forza Italia grows just 0.1% and is now at 6.1%.
Usually from the profundis to the progressive area. In comparison with a week ago, the Democratic Party loses 0.4% and drops to 14.7%. The consensus also fell for Azione and Italia Viva, which lost 0.2% to 7.8%.
