The Government raises the issue of confidence in economic maneuver. The information was released in the Chamber by the Minister of Relations with Parliament, Luca Ciriani. Previously, the text had received, amid the controversies of the opposition, a green light from the Budget Commission after the changes made after a series of investigations by the General Accounting Office of the State. At the end of the session, the conference of the leaders of the groups will take place, with the vote scheduled for tomorrow at 20:30.
To resolve the situation, the oversight of almost half a billion euros was eliminated, with the maneuver of the EC continuing its race against time with the green light of the Municipality of Montecitorio scheduled for the late morning of Christmas Eve. The Budget commission, gathered to implement the conclusions of the State General Accounting and annul an amendment approved by mistake with an allocation of 450 million to fill in the red of the Municipalities, concluded the mission at the last minute and approved the corrections. Forty-four total corrections to the Rgs, including the removal of the rule to spare Municipalities “for negative effects on balances” due to lack of coverage. Among the various nominations, the RGS then rejected any compensation and the like for the members of the POS permanent table, later asking it to provide poles for the disco workers’ vouchers. We also request a review of the amendment relating to the extension until March 31 of the smartworking of the fragile because it involves compensation costs for the replacement of the school staff in question.

Together with the MEF technicians, whom I thank for their punctual and always professional contribution, Parliament and the Government are working on the last adjustments to the maneuver in the Budget Committee in the Chamber, before the vote of confidence is placed”.
Practicing the green light or not, however, there is a race against time: after the ‘yes’ of the House on the 24th, the measure will go to the Senate between the 27th and 30th, hopefully, for final approval. Everything will be done to prevent the vote from dropping to 31, as any unforeseen event (already tested in the Chamber with the Municipalities savings rule) would be enough to dangerously falter on the red line of the provisional exercise.
