“Italy will never have access to the Mes”. Meloni signs in blood

There is no doubt about the Mes. Giorgia Meloni, interviewed in Porta a Porta by Bruno Vespa, speaks clearly about the European Stability Mechanism, making a promise after the controversies of recent days against the government: “Italy will not enter until I say something, I can sign in blood. Ratification of the ESM reform is not a big problem, Parliament will discuss it. If we are the only ones who do not approve the reform, we block the others. The question I want to ask, before entering the debate that will take place in Parliament on whether or not to ratify a useless thing, is ‘Can we make this tool useful’? The director of the Mes said that they are open to Italy’s position, I would like to speak with him to understand if there is a way to take a fund that no one will access and make a fund useful for someone”.

Meloni released another message about the goals for the end of the legislature: “I expect an optimistic Italy, an Italy that trusts its institutions. I think we have a thousand problems, then you look at the economic data and realize that in the last quarter we grew more than the Germans, French and Spanish. It lacks optimism, a bit of healthy pride”, concludes the leader of the Brothers of Italy”.
