Gas stations, definitive break with the government. Strike confirmed on January 25th and 26th

The gas station strike will take place. The acronyms that represent the Faib, Fegica and Figisc/Anisa petrol stations confirm the strike proclaimed for the 25th and 26th of January even after the third panel meeting this morning at Mimit with the Minister of Business and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso. “No elements of improvement have arrived since this morning’s meeting, on the contrary, conditions have worsened”, explains a member of Fegica. While an exponent of Figisc adds: «The table confirmed that for the government ours is a category to be observed with a sign, as in the Middle Ages».

«I am deeply disappointed, we expected more to be able to respond to the minister’s needs, but the conditions have not changed. There has been an effort to reduce sanctions but the cartel’s obligation remains and the message is that we are a category to keep under control because we speculate». Thus Bruno Bearsi, president of Figisc/Anisa.

The unions are targeting the latest government oil decree, which requires managers to display signals not just for their own prices, but average prices across the country. Penalty fine that can reach 6 thousand euros.

“Today we didn’t see the vacancies that were proposed to us. We did our best not to disturb the citizens, but the government decided the opposite and the ministry is going back on the promises made to the associations in the previous tables. We want to meet Meloni” says president Faib Confesercenti Giuseppe Sperduto.
