Winpoll poll, sensational turnaround in Pd primaries: now Bonaccini is really shaking

The war at the polls continues between Stefano Bonaccini and Elly Schlein, the favorites for the leadership of the Democratic Party. In the morning, the secretariat candidates committee highlighted Winpoll’s poll in view of the February 26 open primaries, which gave Schlein 56.3% and Bonaccini 47.3%. Broken down by age group, the deputy is the favorite in the segment 18 to 29 (61%), 30 to 44 (45%) and over 65 (48%). Bonaccini stands out with 65% between 45-65 years old.

As for gender, the governor of Emilia Romagna is the first among men (44%) and Schlein is the first among women (53%). However, the Bonaccini committee responds with the Emg survey, according to which the range of citizens who will vote for the candidate for the secretariat is between 63 and 67%, while that of Schlein is between 33 and 37%. The undecided are given to 33%. Bonaccini is also considered the best candidate for new secretary of the Democratic Party by 33% of respondents, Schlein by 10%.

In terms of trust placed, Schlein (78%) would be first in the Winpoll poll, Bonaccini (76%) second and Gianni Cuperlo third (75%). Paola De Micheli is more detached, with 69% of respondents willing to rely on her guidance. With regard to the potential geographic diffusion of the vote, it is noted how Schlein surpasses Bonaccini in the North (48% to 36%) and in the Center (47% to 39%), to pay a small tax in the South and in the Islands, where instead, the Emilian governor appears (41% against the 39% of consensus obtained by the opponent). An incandescent situation with the numbers: whoever wins the primaries has the mission to relieve the Democratic Party after the last heavy defeats.
