The escalation between the parties is now in plain sight. Drones and jets that are chased, hit and crashed in the skies over half of Europe. Accusations and insults sent through the press and institutional diplomatic channels. The war in Ukraine sees a tension that is noticeably increasing. The first to pay the consequences would be our Minister of Defense, Guido Crosetto, to whom, days ago, Brigade General Wagner, Evgeny Prigozhin, addressed an eloquent “mudak” which is an explicit insult in the Russian language.
But that doesn’t seem to be the end. On the contrary. According to the Il Foglio website, Italian Intelligence had alerted our government to the existence of a reward of 15 million dollars for Minister Crosetto. The threat would come directly from former Russian President Medvedev, who gave instructions to attack Wagner’s cells present in European territory. Of course, the alert is already high and, in the next few hours, we are sure that the denunciations of our secret services will be investigated and, possibly, the necessary security measures will be taken.
