According to the head of this ministerial portfolio, the treatment of the project before the legislature, democratic order and the independence of the powers of the branch of public power must be ensured.
“Colombia it cannot be subjugated by the state of mind. This is a proposal for all Colombians. We call, with respect, but also with hope, on those who have ruled this country for years to allow for change,” said Minister Corcho.
He also added that doing things differently does not mean destruction or a return to the failed forms of the past, “it means recognizing structural flaws in the current model, failures that affect, limit or deny the rights of the population, marginalize vulnerable sectors of society and jeopardize the financial stability of a system. It’s time to think that another way, a better way to run our health system is possible.”
