Silvio Berlusconi and former prime minister hospitalized

There is talk of a “silent night”, but without new official medical bulletins, the path of secrecy is still chosen. Thus, Silvio Berlusconi’s treatment at the San Raffaele hospital in Milan continues. The former prime minister has been hospitalized since Wednesday morning. Between Sunday and Monday, it was the fifth night in intensive care for the founder of Forza Italia, who was being treated for a lung infection that occurred in the context of chronic myelomonocytic leukemia.

On Sunday, Berlusconi was visited by family and friends: his daughters Marina and Eleonora, president of the Mediaset Fedele Confalonieri. Next to him is his partner and blue sidekick, Marta Fascina, but also his father.

Beginning with ICU chief Alberto Zangrillo, doctors describe a “really difficult” situation but also a patient who is responding to treatment. There is no official communication from medical staff scheduled for Monday, April 10.
