Official channels do not confirm, but official sources on both sides give the pass as “practically done”.
The interested party contacted by phone by Andkronos did not respond. But his colleagues confirm the rumors. On the blue side a “meeting” is confirmed, but so far no decision has been taken on the change of the Sicilian MEP, daughter of Rocco Chinnici, magistrate killed by the mafia. After the numerous rumors of the night, an official position was taken by Elly Schlein from Pd sources: «We know nothing about it, but it would certainly be surprising that, after accepting the candidacy for the presidency of the Region of Sicily in Partilha Pd last July and having demanded that there be no defendants among the candidates now Caterina Chinnici can switch to Forza Italia, the party of Berlusconi Dell’Utri e D’Alì».
