The Democratic Party insists on citizenship reform, but it is not alone. The intergroup on citizenship reform has now been submitted to the House of Representatives, which includes around thirty deputies not only from the Democratic Party, but also from the 5 Star Movement, the Italian Left and +Europe. Pd MP Ouidad Bakkali opened the intergroup presentation, after which the following speeches were made in conjunction and in the presence of the conference: Matteo Ricci, Mayor of Pesaro and Coordinator of Mayors of Pd; Marwa Mahmoud, founder of the Citizenship Reform Network, city councilor in Reggio Emilia and member of the national Pd secretariat; Head of the National Coordination of New Italian Generations (Conngi) and Genoa city councilor Simohamed Kaabour; Kwanza Musi Dos Santos, president of the QuestaèRoma association and the Citizenship Reform Network; Geri Ballo, spokesperson for Volare and Rete for citizenship reform; Parliamentarians of various groups adhering to intergroups.
