At the Forza Italia Convention, Chancellor Antonio Tajani thundered against France for his ministers’ statements against Italy. “As Minister of Foreign Affairs, the only thing I cannot accept are offenses against my homeland, which is why I didn’t go to Paris. I am very attached to France, but the honor of Italy is above everything”. The statement was made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister, Antonio Tajani, at the Forza Italia convention in Milan. “To say that Italy is incapable is an unacceptable offense for me. These sentences came while I was speaking to the EU States General in support of the collaboration. That’s not how you collaborate. Comparison is one thing, insult is another,” added Tajani.
