Elly Schlein’s Dilemma Between Friends of the US and the Sikh Community

Dear director, Elly Schlein seems to have a lot of work to do before she can dedicate herself to her multi-gender Democratic Party. For now, with the help of colorist Enrica Chicchio, she has tidied up her wardrobe and, together with some famous architects, is finalizing the work to make her office on the second floor of Largo del Nazareno more fluid, where they say she has done very little so far. Who knows when the work is finished, he will still find the party. The upcoming elections in Molise, in which polls show the governing parties won and where the Democratic Party has struggled even to identify candidates for the list, will be another difficult test. While on major issues, from war to constitutional reform, the secretary has few ideas, ambiguous and confused, incapable of reconciling progress and reality. Schlein’s ambivalence is that in the square she presents herself as a barricade at war against the monotonous world that is deaf to ethical and moral issues. Privately, on the other hand, those who know her find her a reasonable and conciliatory person.

Many first met her in the gardens of the Quirinale, where she entered among the first and left last. She is said to be kind, thoughtful, and articulate entirely acceptable reasoning. Now though, it takes a good mental coach to understand why her anger prevails in public. A duplicity that disconcerts Piddina’s historic base, but which leaves fans at the last minute in ecstasy, ready, however, to resign at the first opportunity. Expanding the field, as required by the base, means not falling into an excessively demagogic left that would force the various Guerini, Lotti and Margiotta to say a painful goodbye. The executives who have most supported him so far, Franceschini and Boccia, along with the great old Ugo Sposetti are shocked. And while the red world crumbles around her, she seems to think only of a purely media coup, which will really end up shaking everything: putting five female leaders in the next European championships. Also, it’s certainly nothing new, given that Matteo Renzi has already done so in the past. The only name in the field with any seriousness and authority could be that of the southern zone, Lucia Annunziata, fresh out of the anti-Meloni curtain. Francesca Bria, a grillina of the first hour, would also aspire, remembered for having testified against Gianni De Gennaro, police chief at the time of the G7 in Genoa and now hit by Andrea Orlando. And then there is the faithful Marta Bonafoni, regional councilor, coordinator of a secretariat that never meets, who had already shamelessly “betrayed” Nicola Zingaretti and whom an old fox like Pierluigi Castagnetti, founder of the Democratic Party and president of Popular has never even met .

Bonafoni and Schlein met in Borgo Hermada, in the province of Latina, where much of the Sikh community lives (notoriously the constituency of the PD primaries…!), who work in the fields of the Pontine countryside. But this idea of five women triggered the party boys, all ready to move to Brussels as leaders. Count Paolo Gentiloni warms up the engines, along with Bonaccini and also Zingaretti who does not find peace, Elly now understands that she can do little against those caciques who would like to leave the party and that is why she is focusing on the so-called “cacicchini”, before all trying to get Governor De Luca’s son into a corner as vice chairman of the House parliamentary caucus.

Maybe it’s better that he gives up, because the Piddina resistance is ready to shoot him. However, there might be a chance if an incredible double helping arrives, a suggestive but not improbable hypothesis: if the help comes from a fierce and well-connected Republican fringe with connections in the deep state of the United States, the country where you studied, where your father taught and whose passport Elly has, who doesn’t see well Meloni’s overwhelming rise.
And again, on the opposite side, if the American company Social Changes, close to the Democrats, which a few months ago already decided to put her under observation, raised the bar, supporting her, Elly could resist. After all, the Americans have played more and more matches in Italy, just remember the Soros operation on behalf of the grillini that saw the disaster it produced. If that wasn’t enough, it would be instructive to go back to the times of Craxi, punished for his proud attitude in the Sigonella case, and of Andreotti, on whom probably, according to his suspicions, sectors of the FBI played some joke.

And how can we forget the ambiguous role of the American consulate in Milan at the time of the Mani Pulite that subjugated the First Republic? Of great interest is the book by Andrea Spiri «The end 1992 1994» (Baldini+Castoldi publishing house) which describes the end of the first republic in the American secret archives. Among hundreds of declassified State Department dispatches, there is one from 1993 (eo12358 ref.11308) in which Andreotti asks to be received at the American embassy to defend himself against the accusations, explaining that Cosa Nostra wants revenge on him and is trying to frame it. The senator for life says it was “American mobsters and deviant fragments of the Italian secret services” who wanted his end. Does anyone prepare a Schlein drone from abroad? Political fantasy certainly. To think badly is a sin, but it is often guessed, said Divo.
