Disapproval of President Gustavo Petro continues to grow, as shown by Datexco’s Opinometer, which shows that 60% of Colombians surveyed disapprove of the president’s management.
This is the first investigation carried out after the scandal involving Laura Sarabia and Armando Benedetti, two close people of President Petro. According to the technical sheet, the measurement data was collected between May 30 and June 1, 2023.
The figures show that the disapproval of the head of state was 60%, up three percentage points from the last measurement from May 25 to 26, when it stood at 57%.
Meanwhile, disapproval fell from 30% to 26%, with the Caribbean region and the country’s central region least approving of the president’s management: 22% and 19%, respectively.
As is well known, the management of social networks, especially Twitter, has been one of the main criticisms received by the president. In the survey, 53% of Colombians believe the president has been unable to manage this social network, while only 17% have.
