Representative Alfredo Ape Cuello, from La U, announced this Wednesday before the Chamber’s plenary session that his bench is considering abandoning the vote on the health reform.
“There were some statements from various actors regarding this discussion of this reform, the board of directors announced that the health reform would not be voted on until the facts were clarified, and with that calmness we all accepted what President Racero said” said the MP in the front room of the debate.
He added to that effect: “The U have said we would not be discussing the reform this week and it is not a legislative paralysis but a right to protest and we ask that we continue with impediments and come quietly the next week to discuss this to discuss reform.”
The President of the Chamber, David Racero, of the Historical Pact, who announced a few days ago the freezing of the process due to the scandals that shocked the government, but later reconsidered, replied that “each bank will determine whether it decides to leave as happened a week or if you want to continue the process”.
