New engagement with Monday’s SWG survey conducted for Tg La7 led by Enrico Mentana. The latest survey does not register the Berlusconi effect on the fate of Forza Italia: the Azzurri, in fact, lose 0.1% compared to last week and settle at 7.2%. A figure in contrast to many other institutes, which give a sharp rise in the party that has seen the disappearance of its leader and founder. The brothers from Italy are always at the top of the ranking of political forces: Giorgia Meloni and her followers grow by 0.2%, reaching 28.9%. At a sidereal distance is the Democratic Party of Elly Schlein, which grew 0.3% and went from 20.2 to 20.5%. Sharp drop in the 5 Star Movement, which lost from 0.4% to 16%. Lega performed well, rising above 9%: up more than 0.3% from the June 12 estimate.
Down Action (-0.2%), Verdi and Sinistra (-0.2%), Italia Viva (-0.1%) and Unione Popolare (-0.1%). Between the strength of Carlo Calenda and Matteo Renzi there is less than a point of difference: the former prime minister’s party is stationary at 2.9%, against 3.7% of the other party of the former Third Pole. Stable + Europe (2.5%), For Italy Comparison (2.2%) and US Moderate (1%). The proportion of abstentions is growing: 38% of respondents do not speak out (+2% compared to last week).
