The controversy increases in Puglia because of some sentences against the government in the Pnrr. In a joint note, the Puglia deputies of the Brothers of Italy criticize Gianna Elisa Berlingerio for excessive intervention against the work of the executive led by Giorgia Meloni: “The sentences handed down by the head of the department for economic development of the Puglia region, Gianna Elisa Berlingerio who, in an interview, in unequivocal terms, he called for the fight against the government on the issue of funds for economic development and cohesion, are very serious and break the pact of trust and loyal collaboration that must always and in any case inspire relations between national institutions and regional bodies regardless of political appearance”.
“Dr. Berlingerio, candidate in the regional elections, unelected and then fished out by President Emiliano who placed all his supporters not rewarded for the electoral challenge at the top of the departments, thinks – she accuses the Prime Minister’s party – of being able to use his position in a dressed exclusively in political battle and thus betraying his role. Given his inadequacy, it would be fitting for him to take a step back. Therefore, the Deputies ask for Berlingerio’s resignation in order to close the case.
