Despite the many problems that plague Italian political life, Giorgia Meloni’s party does not miss a beat. And, even with the political elections that brought him to Palazzo Chigi, Fratelli d’Italia continues to grow. It was discussed on Rainews24 where Livio Gigliuto, Executive President of the Piepoli Institute, was connected.
Compared to polls on September 25, 2022, the day of the last political elections, Fratelli d’Italia gained 3.5% to 29.5%. Still in the centre-right, Matteo Salvini’s Liga also grows, gaining 0.2% reaching 9%. Different speech for the Forza Italia party which, perhaps also thanks to the disappearance of its founder and leader Silvio Berlusconi, loses 0.6% and drops to 7.5%. As for the left-wing opposition, Schlein’s Democratic Party has difficulty defending itself and, compared to the previous year, it gained 0.4% to 19.5%. Both the Green-Left Alliance and +Europa lost, respectively, 0.1% and 0.3% to 3.5% and 2.5%. Frozen situation for the Five Star Movement which in one year gained 0.1% reaching 15.5%. What’s left of the Third Pole is faring much worse. Action and Italia Viva together lost 1.8%.
