‘We told different industries that reduce consumption by 10% or that there is an alternative to a more expensive gas offered by the private marketersbut that gas comes out almost 100% more expensive than what was coming pay”, explained Ramón Dávila, manager of Gases de Caribe, in dialogue with EL HERALDO.
In that sense, he added that there is no clear horizon on the part of Canacol Energy as to when said gas rationing would be maintained.
“We’ve had this for about seven days now, and already we have protests what happens, and this can get complicated costand the worst part is that there is no sure picture of how long this issue will last,” said Dávila.
Said the former congressman and connoisseur of the energy issue Cesar Lorduygiven the gas shortage that is not only occurring in the US Caribbean coastbut not in Colombia, everything seems to indicate that the the prices of this fuel will skyrocket.
