First survey after Sky Tg24 August break conducted by Quorum-YouTrend. The Brothers from Italy dominate the scene, growing 1.6% from the last poll of July 24th, up to 31.2%. Red light for the Democratic Party, the 5 Star Movement, Lega and Forza Italia: Giorgia Meloni’s party separated everyone. Elly Schlein’s dem fell to 19% (-0.4%) while the grillini was at 15.2% (-0.3%). Carroccio’s fall was more pronounced, going from 8.9% to 8.3%. Slight decrease also for the Azzurri, orphans of Silvio Berlusconi: from 6% it drops to 5.8%. A leap forward for the Action which rises 0.5% to 4.1%, while voting intentions in Alleanza Verdi-Sinistra (3.7%) and Italy fall 0.2% and 0.4% alive ( 2.5%). Thumbs up for Per l’Italia with Paragone, which erodes 0.1% and goes to 2.2%. In total, the number of abstainers and undecided dropped by one percentage point, equivalent to 41.5% of respondents.
Compared to July 24, positive judgments about the Meloni government decreased (from 42% to 40%) and confidence in center-right leaders (Meloni 39%, Salvini 23%, Tajani 22%). The opposition leaders are on the mend: both Schlein (+2%) and Conte (+3%) are doing well, as are Renzi and Calenda (+3% and +1% confidence, respectively). The most beloved political leader continues to be Sergio Mattarella: 64% of Italians trust the President of the Republic, a figure that grows by 2%. A against the prime minister, second in the ranking of leaders, drops one percentage point.
