After the eighth night of bombings in the Gaza Strip, the war between the State of Israel and Hamas, the Palestinian Islamic political and paramilitary organization, does not stop. In effect, Tel Aviv, after the carnage of its adversaries, said: “We are ready for a ground operation.” Meanwhile, politics and public opinion are divided on the issue. In particular, in many squares in Italy, the extreme left is clearly against Israel and is demonstrating in favor of Palestine. And Europe falls back into the nightmare of terrorism. Just yesterday, two bomb alerts were triggered in France: one at the Louvre and another at the Palace of Versailles. It is Il Giornale that highlights a significant detail. Yesterday, 4,000 people marched through the streets of Milan expressing “unconditional support” for Hamas and defining Israel as “fascist”, “terrorist” and “criminal”. Among the protesters, a familiar face held the flag: he is a former member of the Red Brigades.
“Young Palestinians, Maghrebian immigrants and old communist militants march together from Central Station to Via Padua, and the enemy is clear: the Israeli, the Zionist. , often exalted. The collective history makes no distinctions: «We are here to support the Palestinian resistance»”, reads the article. As predicted, among the protesters also Francesco Giordano, an anti-Zionist activist who in recent years embraced the cause of the Palestinian protest Jewish Brigade in the demonstrations on April 25. But it’s not over yet. Giordano, who yesterday proudly paraded with a banner that read “The boycotters of Israel”, was part of the “Brigade of March XXVIII”, responsible for the murder of journalist Walter Tobagi .
