The Democratic Center is asking for political support in regional elections

All roads lead to a vote this Sunday. Senator Carlos Meisel Vergara called on citizens to go to the polls en masse to vote for the various candidates and not be left without their right and duty as Colombians to elect their rulers democratically.

“The Democratic Center fulfills its opposition role in Congress. We must emphasize to the citizens that we from the party have said no to the ‘Petro reforms’ that are not good for the country,” said Meisel.

Likewise, he invited Colombians to support the party during local elections to achieve the development that every area needs. “What we hope is that the citizens who know that things are not going in the right direction will have the support to send a message to Petro.”

The senator pointed out that the Democratic Center team supports the candidacy of Eduardo Verano for governor of Atlántico and his duo for mayor of Barranquilla with Alejandro Char.

“We must recognize the progress that has been made and how important it would be for the department and Barranquilla not to improvise. We hope that citizens will massively support this duo,” he said.

He also reiterated that the party also supports the candidate for the Barranquilla Council, Andrés Ballesteros, and Carlos Rojano for the assembly.

“Everything that the Meisel movement I lead means is with Verano,” he said.
