Maneuver, signal from Sbarra to the government: “Improvements in pensions are necessary”

A signal reaches the government from CISL. As Budget projects continue to circulate in recent days, the union’s general secretary, Luigi Sbarra, invited Giorgia Meloni to review the pensions issue in private: “Let’s judge the Budget in a serious and responsible way. . But the government still has time to improve the measures announced today with the latest pension projects. Ensure full indexation of pensions, invest in the well-being of young people and women, reinforce flexibility when leaving the labor market and encourage participation in supplementary pensions. It is wrong to reduce rates and returns for public pensioners.”

“These are – continued Sbarra – decisive hours in which we ask the government to be consistent with social commitments, providing, with appropriate interventions and despite limited resources, a social structure convinced of the Budget Law. Otherwise, he will receive clear opposition from CISL on these issues. And we certainly won’t sit idly by.”
