The much-vaunted cut in Rai license fee will become a reality even if the State puts the money into it. In the text of the maneuver stamped by the State Accountant’s Office, the measure is available in art. 8 of Title III on reducing the tax burden, with the title “Reducing the RAI license fee and modernizing and improving the infrastructure of public radio, television and multimedia service networks.” It envisages resetting the television subscription fee for private use to 70 euros for 2024 and providing a contribution of 430 million euros to society from the Ministry of Commerce and Made in Italy.
