The umpteenth confirmation of a drift as crazy as it is dangerous comes from the adherence of Sinistra Italiana Milano to «Nothing to celebrate Stop War – Stop Racism», the procession organized, for Saturday, November 4, by Milano Antifascista Antiracista Meticcia and Solidale, which will begin in Piazzale Oberdan and you will see associations and parties demonstrate to condemn the war between Israel and Palestine and call for a ceasefire. Obviously the chosen date is not absolutely random. The large group of Hamas friends will parade through the streets of the Milanese capital in conjunction with another demonstration, the one announced by Matteo Salvini. On the occasion of Armed Forces Day, the leader of the League called on members and supporters to defend Western values. The Italian left convincingly organized a counter-demonstration that “wants to be the response to this initiative”.
«The dangerous instability that characterizes the global geopolitical confrontation today – we read in the declaration of the movement led by Nicola Fratoianni – favors the proliferation of regional conflicts, but at the same time it cannot allow the opening of such a dangerous new theater of war in the Middle East. The prerequisite, however, is the end of the carnage and confrontation which, on the contrary, continues, day after day, to sow death, destruction and hatred.”
It goes without saying that next Saturday will be a very difficult day for those who live in Milan. Traffic interruptions and increasing tension. Because, beyond the usual guarantees, it is difficult not to foresee clashes between the two groups. On the other hand, the left, after having lost the dream of the Future Sun, the class struggle and the triumph of the proletariat, has been blinking its eyes at the greatest enemies of the West and its values for years: Islamic extremists.
