Beach concessions, the European Commission issues a reasoned opinion on the subject of beach concessions. The head of the Fratelli d’Italia delegation in the European Parliament, Carlo Fidanza, is satisfied and calls for clarity in the rules that regulate the entire sector.
“We expected that. We take positive note of the willingness expressed by the EU Commission spokesperson to maintain open dialogue with the Italian government. On this occasion, the government will explain the seriousness of the work carried out by the technical table, work never before carried out by any government and which has demonstrated with irrefutable data (and even improvement once data from lakes and rivers has been acquired) the extent to which it is the prerequisite of resource scarcity is not currently detectable. On this basis, we will work on a rule that puts an end to the current regulatory uncertainty. Furthermore, the opinion merely reiterates things that are already known, which add nothing and take nothing away from the debate.” This is what Carlo Fidanza, head of the Fratelli d’Italia delegation to the European Parliament, states following the reasoned opinion issued by the Commission European Union on the topic of concessions.
