Initiative by the Minister of Education and Merit Giuseppe Valditara in memory of Giulia Cecchettin. Government member Meloni accepted the invitation, launched on X and Facebook, by Adnkronos director Davide Desario. “It would be good if Education Minister Valditara proclaimed a minute of silence against feminicides on Monday in all secondary schools in the country,” Desario wrote on social platforms. And Valditara immediately responded: “I accept the appeal of Adnkronos Director Davide Desario. Tomorrow I will send an invitation to all Italian schools to observe a minute of silence on Tuesday in honor of Giulia and all abused women and victims of violence.”
“On Wednesday – Minister Valditara wrote again in another post on the old Twitter – we will present the ‘Educating for relationships’ plan at a press conference. The plan is the result of careful work by the Ministry of Education in the name of broad discussion and pluralism of relationships”. This morning, Filippo Turetta was detained in Germany, under investigation for the murder of Giulia, whose body was found on Saturday morning in a ravine near Lake Barcis, in Friuli.
I accept the appeal of the Director of@Adnkronos @davidedesario. Tomorrow I will send an invitation to all Italian schools to observe a minute of silence on Tuesday in honor of Giulia and all abused women and victims of violence. 1/2
