Guido Crosetto ready to present report to Parliament: “As soon as he returns from abroad”

The oppositions vehemently ask for clarification, in parliament, from the head of the Department of Defense: “The oppositions asked me to report to Antimafia or Copasir. I gave my availability and then they told me it was not good. Now there is another urgent request (I don’t know from which group) and, as soon as I return from abroad, I will respond”, said Defense Minister, Guido Crosetto, on a mission abroad, to Adnkronos regarding the opposition’s request to present a report in Parliament after the alarm about the “judicial opposition” to the center-right government launched in the interview with Corriere della Sera on November 26th.

Having returned from Jerusalem, where he met with his Israeli counterpart Yoav Gallant, Guido Crosetto actually gave an interview to Corriere della Sera in which, in addition to commenting on the evolution of the conflict that, in the Middle East, pits Israel against Hamas , also responded to a question about the risk of discontinuity in the current government and stated: “The only great danger is that of those who have always felt like an antagonistic faction and who have always undermined center-right governments: the judicial opposition”.

“They tell me about meetings of a branch of the Judiciary where they talk about how to ‘stop the anti-democratic drift into which Meloni is taking us’. this country well, I hope this season opens soon, before the European Championship…”, added the minister. Precisely these statements opened a new political front.
