In the Mentana poll, the Democratic Party continues to lose ground and the M5S approaches

Elly Schlein’s Democratic Party simply cannot make headway in the polls. In the latest SWG poll for the La7 news program directed by Enrico Mentana, Democrats lost 0.1%, going from 19.4% to 19.3%. Is a shift to the left possible? It would seem so, given the contemporary growth of the 5 Star Movement. Giuseppe Conte’s men gained 0.3% in one week, taking them to 16.7% overall. A sensational overtake is no longer a utopia given the progress of recent weeks. Fratelli d’Italia remains firmly in the lead, but loses half a percentage point in seven days, reaching 28.1%. A negative sign also for the League, which goes from 9.4% to 9.2% (-0 .2%), and for the Greens and the Left, which fell to 3.4% (-0.2%).

A positive sign for Forza Italia, which recovers ground and reaches 7.3% (+0.3%). Azione remains stable, remaining at 3.8%, Italia Viva and +Europa are also practically stable: Matteo Renzi’s party loses 0.1% and registers approval of 3.2%, while the latter grows 0.1%, until 2.7%. Fermo Unione Popolare (1.4%), while Per l’Italia con Paragone moves away, rising to 1.8% (+0.2%). Down 0.1% for us moderates, which is about one percent. The percentage of those who do not express themselves is decreasing, from 39% last week to 37% this week.
