Once upon a time there was Florence. Wonder admired by tourists from all over the world. One of the most peaceful cities, a happy oasis where it was possible (and pleasant) to raise a family. Today this reality no longer exists. Replaced by an urban model, the one desired by leftist ideology, full of rules and few rules for Florentines. From the madness of trash keys, to the multifactory, from the ZTL that kills commerce in the historic center, to the tram that devastates the historic medieval streets. An idea of a city in which African immigrants, even irregular ones, on the contrary, can do everything: occupy illegally, negotiate openly and make respectable people live in constant insecurity. Yet another demonstration that residents are tired and sick comes today with the release of a letter. Written by an important and numerous committee of citizens and addressed to the Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, the Ministry of the Interior, the Mayor, Governor Eugenio Giani and Mayor Dario Nardella.
“We immediately ask for a Caivano Decree for Florence to guarantee the security of our city – we read in the letter written by the San Jacopino Active Citizens Committee – Florence is in first place in predatory crimes, in sixth place in damages, in fourth place in thefts and robberies. Compared to Rome, it surpasses it in theft, robbery, sexual violence, injuries and malicious damage. Extremely urgent measures are needed for Florence, which cannot be postponed any longer.” Among these, we read, the sending of the army to the streets, the patrolling of the municipal police with the expected judicial police powers that the law gives them to intervene in the protection of citizens. “The location where the CPR will be opened must also be identified, as required by the Gentiloni law.”
Scary numbers, those mentioned, that will be at the center of the electoral campaign for the next administrative elections. The elections for the new mayor of the Tuscan capital have never been so uncertain. The second round is right, obviously. On the one hand Sara Funaro, Social Security councilor and exponent of a PD that has never been so weak, on the other Eike Schmidt (who will dissolve his last formal reserves this week), a purebred chosen by the center-right, with Stefania Saccardi in the quite. Renzian himself will certainly tip the scales. And if Cecilia Del Re entered the coalition with Italia Viva, the scenario, for the Democrats, would turn into a true nightmare. The same one in which Florentines are forced to live.
