The legal problems of Sardinia region president Christian Solinas are at the center of two different investigations by the Cagliari prosecutor’s office. Cagliari’s Guardia di Finanza has already seized assets (worth about 350 thousand euros) belonging to the governor and six other suspects.
The seizure order, signed by investigating judge Luca Melis, followed a two-stage investigation by the prosecutor’s office: the first regarding the sale of land in Solinas, and the second regarding the appointment as general director of the Eni-Nisan Management Authority. Cbc Mediterranean Basin program.
In the first case, a number of operations came under the scrutiny of investigators, starting with the sale of land to the entrepreneur from Solinas in Capoterra in the metropolitan Cagliari. With this money the Regional President would buy a house near Poetto beach in Cagliari. Allegedly, Zedda would have procured computer equipment. In addition to Solinas, Sardinian regional councilor Nanni Lancioni and entrepreneur Roberto Zedda are also under investigation
The second part concerns the alleged pressure to appoint Raimondi to the top of Enpi and, according to the Prosecutor’s hypothesis, is connected with the promise of an honorary degree from a university in Tirana. Sardinian Christian Stelli, Rector of the University in the Albanian capital and Solinas’ advisor, is also under investigation regarding this second incident.
