Progress in the case of the New Year’s Eve shooting involving deputy Emanuele Pozzolo, currently suspended by Fratelli d’Italia. As reported by Corriere della Sera, Parma Ris delivered the first results of the sketch carried out for Mr. Deputy at dawn to the Biella Public Prosecutor’s Office and the test found “significant” traces of gunpowder on Pozzolo’s hands and clothes. During the party, the shot injured Luca Campana, son-in-law of Pablito Morello, head of the undersecretary of Justice, Andrea Delmastro, who was also present at the party held at the headquarters of Pro Loco de Rosazza, in Biella.
Pozzolo is under investigation for aggravated culpable bodily harm, dangerous ignition and failure to keep weapons safe and both Campana and Morello, questioned at the Prosecutor’s Office, stated that they were not responsible for the shooting. The deputy, in turn, made use of his right not to respond after announcing in an interview that he was ready to tell the whole truth about the episode to the Public Prosecutor’s Office. A new interrogation has now been scheduled and the results of the ballistics test are awaited, as traces of gunpowder from a launch charge were found on the table in the party room. It just remains to wait.
