“There is madness and loss in the President of the Republic”

Iván Leonidas Name Vásquezlawyer of Barranquilla, co-founder of the Green Alliance Party, distances himself from the discretion with which he signed his public life, to be proud of being the third member of this line of politicians from the Colombian Caribbean with a presence in the Congress of the Republic, of which he is currently President, of which he has been a member since 2010 and in which he moves like a fish to water. He was previously a representative at the Camera for Cundinamarcadeputy and councilor of Bogotá, a city where he arrived as a child with his entire family.

Without being ‘really an appearance’, as he admits, stripped of false vanities and solidity; but above all the clarity of their positions expressed in the legislature regarding the actions of President Petro and his members Government or pro-government parliamentarians have turned him into a kind of guardian of the institutions Constitution and the democracy.
