“These judges need to go.” This is Elon Musk’s comment at the end of the post on Mario Nawfal’s account at
The poster has emerged as one of the rising stars on X, where he has more than 1.7 million followers, hosts some of the platform’s biggest audio events and frequently receives praise from Musk himself. Positioning himself as a combination of entrepreneur, business influencer and “citizen journalist,” Nawfal hosts and moderates “The Roundtable Show,” which he says attracts more than 6 million listeners a week. Live audio chat has become a mainstay on the platform, with guests including former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried (now in prison for fraud) and Hunter Biden, again promoted by Musk. But according to an NBC investigation, Nawfal’s rapid rise from little-known businessman to seemingly omnipresent celebrity in business and social media was built in part on broken promises and highly calculated and orchestrated growth hacking efforts. The sources cited by NBC News speak of a fame-hungry businessman who leaves a trail of dissatisfied and unpaid employees.
This is the reaction of CSM lay advisor Ernesto Carbone: “Elon Musk’s words against Italian judges are dangerous words. These new oligarchies explore new worlds (such as space, the ether, social networks and new technologies) to control world politics and are a danger to democracy. After an incursion into German politics, today the jurist Elon Musk enters violently by criticizing the power of the State. All of this is unacceptable, but above all dangerous.”
