A problem, therefore, for Conte, who not only has to balance the accounts relating to the last convention, which cost more than a few cents (there are rumors of more than 10 thousand euros for the reception alone), but also to report to dissidents in relation to these revenues, following two per thousand, the amount of which is not yet known. In 2023 alone there were almost two million euros in the yellow coffers. How was all this money spent? «If Conte – say the rebels – wants to change everything, explain to us how you intend to use the accumulated resources, also thanks to our sacrifices and the donations of those who embraced the cause. We finance something different from another left-wing party.” Furthermore, Grillo himself, as his lawyers report, would not be willing to give up his five-star piggy bank, which has become heavy also thanks to his name and his dream of change.
