Berlin – President Alberto Fernandez Today intensified his denial War between Russia and Ukraine At a joint press conference with the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. The Argentine called the military confrontation “immoral” and called for a ceasefire.

“We condemn the aggression against Ukraine. We talked about the opportunities we have to deliver energy from Argentina to the world. We talked about the agreement with the International Monetary Fund and the negotiations with the Paris Club. “We are renewing ties,” Fernandez said during a meeting with the German chancellor on the second day of a European tour.

The host, meanwhile, added: “I condemn the Argentine invasion of Ukraine. I emphasize the agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Argentina has great potential in terms of renewable energy and we can cooperate in these aspects.

Fernandez stressed any economic sanctions against Russia over the limited trade union between the two countries. “We do not have an economic union, so we do not have sanctions. “We need the world economy to be in order,” said the Argentine, who was tempted by a German official’s relative to use an official helicopter over a scandal in Germany. Fernandez smiled and said that “thankfully” this question should not be answered. And he looked at Scholz deliberately.

He also denied arms shipments to countries involved in the conflict. “We condemn the war. I thought the pandemic was changing the world and that world leaders were going to realize inequality. I never thought a war would break out after a pandemic. Argentina did not send weapons to anyone so that no one else would die. “We want the world to sit down and solve the problem as soon as possible,” Fernandez said.

Mercosur, Europe and Brix

Without making any economic statements during the tour, the President reaffirmed the need to promote trade agreements with European giants. “It is very important that we move forward in the agreements between Mercosur and Europe. We need to see how we affect the protectionism of some countries. “We have to start with non-economic agreements with Germany, but with scientific and cultural agreements that take us away from the protectionist debate,” said Fernandez, who also pointed out. Interested in being part of the Brics bloc, which consists of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.

“The worst thing is that the war is forcing us to return to the bipolar world scheme. This is the worst thing that can happen in the world. Argentina is interested in being part of Brics and getting closer to it. “This is our first commercial partner, this is Brazil,” he said.
