Giuseppe Conte and the new plan on TikTok and Twitch to return to Palazzo Chigi

He was the face of lockdowns, his live streams followed as unmissable events at the start of the pandemic by Italians. In social networks to become a character and make a political career, few have succeeded in recent times like Giuseppe Conte, who now wants to take advantage of his virtual audience to return to the government at the head of the Five Stars.

When Conte became premier in June 2018, he had around 250,000 followers on Facebook. Today the leader of the 5 Star Movement has 4.6 million. Numbers dotted with pride for the strategist who takes care of the former prime minister’s social networks. The new plan to bring Conte back to the most coveted building goes through the social networks most followed by the youngest: TikTok and Twitch. Short videos with trendy backing tracks and directed on the platform created as a space for “gamers”, so Adamo is trying to attract new consent for Giuseppi.

“We are investing a lot of resources in TikTok and Twitch – explains social expert a Republic – with TikTok I was very cautious at first, I preferred to wait. But now is the right time. As for live streams on Twitch, “we don’t have our own channel.
