Cambio Radical votes against tax reform

The match Drastic change announced this Wednesday that it will vote negative for the tax reform presented by the government of Gustavo Petro.

The decision was taken by the community after a bench meeting in the Senate and House of Representatives with former Vice President Germán Vargas Lleras.

Senator David Luna pointed out that opposition to the reform is based on the fact that: the document presented “is not social or equitable as the president promised during the campaign and hits Colombians hard.”

The rojiblancos presented 18 objections to the minister’s text Jose Antonio Ocampo for him Congress of the Republic.

“The reform will increase the prices of many of the family basket commodities consumed by the lowest income earners by 10% or more, such as soft drinks, cereals, soups, table chocolate, juices, chorizos, black puddings, sausages, roscones, ponqués, cookies, candies, etc,” the document reads.
