The class of 1987 wore the shirts of Chelsea, Benfica and Palmeiras and still scored 51 games, tempered by 4 goals, for the Brazilian team. Growing up in Joinville, he established himself at Cruzeiro before arriving in Europe with the Aguias shirt: in Portugal Ramires only stays for one season because he is immediately attracted to Chelsea, where he becomes a fundamental part of the midline right away. In London he won a Premier League, an FA Cup, a League Cup, but above all a Champions League and a Europa League.
After the English interlude he decides to move to China, to Jiangsu Suning, before returning home in 2019 to Palmeiras.
