Nabil Crismatt Returns to the San Diego Padres Main Squad

Earned call. Nabil Crismatt Abuchaibe, one of the top-numbered relievers of the San Diego Padres, returned to the main roster of the California team that will play a postseason series (wild card) starting next Friday with the New York Mets, at the Citi Field, from the ‘Big Apple’.

The pitcher from Barranquilla, who was sent to El Paso Chihuahuas, a branch of the Padres in Triple A, on September 11, returned to the Major League group to replace Mike Clevinger, who was on the 15-day disabled list.

Crismatt Abuchaibe plays the last game of the regular season against the San Francisco Giants (Wednesday afternoon) and then travels to the New York area.

Before being sent to Triple A, the currambero pitcher had thrown 63.1 innings, allowed 54 basehits, walked 22 and struckout 62. His ERA was 2.98.

Finally, there are four Colombians in the postseason: José Quintana (St. Louis Cardinals), Harold Ramírez (Tampa Bay Rays), Nabil Crismatt and Jorge Alfaro (San Diego Padres).
