He was very popular with Spurs players, and some were very close to him.

Especially Son, who looked very tired during the minute’s silence last Premier League weekend against Brighton. The image of the embrace between Ventrone and the Korean striker right after Tottenham’s victory against Leicester was nothing short of emotional and high-impact, testament to the enormous attachment that the entire dressing room had for Ventrone himself. His death was a lightning bolt that shocked the team ready today to win even for their beloved coach loved by the entire group.
