From motorcycle enthusiast to motorcycle tamer

The driver who drives next to his dreams on the circuits laid out in the Tocancipa race track, he runs solely and exclusively for the honor of being the best at something he is passionate about as there is no financial recognition for the winners.

“I’m in this because I like cars and like to win. We’re not going to make money here. Just the satisfaction of knowing I can pass and get on the podium, that’s the best thing about it for me. I also see the joy from my whole team, because if the car is okay, it’s because of them in the end,” he says.

The business administration student is grateful to the sponsors who make his dream possible: his parents. However, Juan wishes that his passion could one day be his livelihood and not just a hobby.

“Ever since I started racing cars, I’ve thought about one day reaching a category where I can compete and earn a living. Think of it as a job and that my effort will be rewarded.”

Meanwhile, he prepares academically and increases his skills behind the wheel, earlier to reach the goal of becoming the great champion of the TC Class A and, why not, that his skills on the track are his livelihood, just like the case of his great idol, Lewis Hamilton.
