The excitement of the first half of the season in Kitchen Champion Division MVV took a beating from Jong FC Utrecht from the bottom. Utrecht team won 3-0.
With a win, MVV moved up to second place, one point behind leaders Heracles Almelo. Now the team remains third.
In the 15th minute of the match, the goal had already arrived for Utrecht. Yuya Ikeshita and Derensili Fernandes Sanches, who passed through the middle, completed it in a controlled manner. Shortly before that, MVV had a shot but Sven Blummel hit the crossbar.
After the break, Maastricht started dramatically: the team scored two goals in ten minutes, Mees Rijks scored both goals. Had Coach Darije Kalezic’s team focused more on this, the damage could have been much greater. Even after their 3-0 win, Utrecht had more chances to score, but conceded three goals.

Jong Ajax and FC Den Bosch scored in the other match of Monday night. Eight goals split equally between the two teams: 4-4.

Christian Rasmussen for Ajax and Nikolaj Möller for FC Den Bosch each scored twice. Jong Ajax’s other goals came from Kian Fitz-Jim and Silvano Vos.
Bossche’s goals came from Teun van Grunsven and Olivier Aertssen. Aertssen plays for Jong Ajax but unfortunately plays the ball behind his own goalkeeper. Young Ajax took a 2-0 and 4-2 lead in the game, but coach John Heitinga’s team were not awarded three points.
There is no winter break in the Culinary Champion Division yet: the full round will be played next weekend.
